Hi Mark, thanks for your answer. I have an additional question about guidelines to do this: should i generate a rich card for each location, even under the same domain? thanks!

So today, Google prefers JSON-LD (see here:https://developers.google.com/search/docs/guides/intro-structured-data#structured-data-format) so we recommend you use JSON-LD. When you do the local business (or more specfically the AutoDealer – http://schema.org/AutoDealer), you then want to see how you can connect that with other entities on your site. For example it will be the publisher of your blog postings, and could also be the car (http://schema.org/Car) and for the car there would be an offer (price – http://schema.org/Offer). Then you can connect the offer to the AutoDealer through the makes offer, or in the offer, as offeredBy). You can code this into your site, or you could also easily use the Schema App Highlighter. Depends on whether you want to manage code or not. https://www.schemaapp.com/products/schema-app-highlighter/

HI Mukesh, the local business schema markup should be on the page that talks about the business. This is usually the homepage.

This means i have 1000 of pages that need to be marked up we have over 2000 different cars and over 200 different auto dealers that use the service.

My question is, what is easiest JSON-LD or microdata to mark up the pages? and sohuld I make a local business for all the products that link to the dealer of the product?

Hi Martha,

I’ve also gathered and tested some resources from around the web on how to modernize the Microdata in Google Blogspot (Blogger) legacy templates. Basically, the templates are outdated and the schema names have been changed over the years, causing legacy Blogger templates to fail the SDTT.

I feel that Blogger can still be a relevant CMS platform for one-click sharing/publishing to social media.

There is a Wiki for explanation of individual fixes to existing blogs.

And a code sample — a full example template for new blogs.
